Education and Awareness

Serve as a trusted resource and partner across government, U.S. embassies, and other relevant third parties. Legislative & Executive Branch Engagement

Build legislative and executive branch champions and advocate for the reform of existing cybersecurity assistance channels and U.S.-funded international grant processes for cybersecurity assistance. SCC engagement focuses on fostering peace and stability in regions critical to U.S. interests, catalyzing economic opportunities that support American businesses and consumers, and mitigating global threats.

Governmental Efficiency and Accountability

Identifying and addressing government process inefficiencies and providing solutions to streamline these systems to achieve maximum U.S. impact. Ensure that these processes promote U.S. cybersecurity interests abroad and identify effective mechanisms to establish accountability for timely cybersecurity capacity delivery.

Coordination and Integration

Identify and promote opportunities for cybersecurity assistance channels to be integrated and/or more widely known within the U.S. government and contracting stakeholder communities. This may involve promoting reforms to coordinate across different programs, agencies, and services to streamline processes and prioritize available funds to advance U.S. security interests.

Embassy Education, Engagement & Authorities

U.S. Embassies are the front lines for engagement with our partners and allies. With a renewed emphasis on cybersecurity diplomacy, they have become more critical in building relationships and providing cybersecurity assistance in emergencies and in routine support. SCC aims to provide ideas and guidance to facilitate reform for cybersecurity assistance channels, ensuring they effectively ensure operational advantage.
